Dad decided to drive out to Houston to visit us for Thanksgiving and again we decided to put him to work. Jonathan and dad installed a new oven on Thanksgiving day. How did we cook the turkey? In a crockpot. It turned out great and so did the oven. We also celebrated our one year anniversary the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Dad suprised us and brought out the top portion of our wedding cake, that my aunts had so gratefully saved. So we decided to feed each other again. The first time Jonathan couldn't smear it all over my face like he could this time. It was fun and we got a good laugh over it. As a matter of fact, dad didn't get the picture taken in time, so Jonathan got to do it twice. Isn't he a lucky fella.

Your blog looks awesome! Good work! By the way, is the cake gross a year later. Jeff and I were talking about that 1st Anniversary tradition yesterday. I am all about yummy cake so I want to make sure it isn't going to be a yucky experience.
